A very true statement, even with our bodies. Unstable feet can cause plantar fasciitis, foot pain, ankle pain, also knee, hip, joint, back pain, and spinal distortion. Most foot problems begin with pronation of the foot (feet turn inward). This in turn leads to knee problems with pressure and pain on the inside of the knees.
  • Do you stand or walk on hard surfaces more than four hours a day?
  • Are you age forty or over?
  • Do your shoes wear unevenly?
  • Do you have joint pain while standing, walking, or running?
  • Do you have obvious foot problems such as bunions, corns, plantar fasciitis, or flat feet?
  • Do you have knock-knees or bow legs?
If you answered "yes" to any of the above, you should consider a shoe insert (orthotic).  An orthotic can improve...
  • Shock absorption,
  • Increase comfort,
  • Reduce pain from plantar fasciitis, corns, bunions, heel spurs, and improve your posture and balance.
When your feet are properly supported and aligned, stress on muscles and ligaments are reduced.

Talk to Dr. Rich or myself to see if orthotics could help you at 573.635.6767.
